Join the Conversation With @RepAnnaEshoo: #SafeMedsForKids

We at PhRMA have been pretty vocal this year in support of important legislation that helps improve the care that children receive across the country, both here on The Catalyst and in more-official settings. We believe very strongly that permanent reauthorization of the Best Pharmaceuticals for Children Act (BPCA) and the Pediatric Research Equity Act (PREA) will continue to encourage a better understanding of the use of medicines in children.

Because of this, I thought we'd alert our readers to an important dialogue going on today thanks to Representative Anna Eshoo (CA-14), a long-time supporter of BPCA/PREA along with Representative Ed Markey and Representative Mike Rogers - all of whom are original sponsors of the BPCA and PREA Reauthorization Act of 2012. Leading the conversation from her Twitter handle, @RepAnnaEshoo, Rep. Eshoo has created the hashtag #SafeMedsForKids. She just posted her first tweet, so now's the time to start following along and throwing in your two cents about the importance of pediatric research.
