New campaign to educate consumers about buying prescription drugs online

The Center for Safe Internet Pharmacy announced a new campaign to educate consumers about buying prescription drugs online.

One part of the program will identify and address illegal sites that pose a threat to consumers. With illegal drug sellers making more than a $1 million a day, this is a big problem.

The worldwide pharmaceutical industry believes that this is a very important step in protecting consumers and has issued a statement that shows the commitment of the private sector to protect the medicine supply.
