Greatest Hit for the Week
by Grady Forrer on 2/11/2011
As the first week of blogging from PhRMA wraps up, I thought it would be good to point back to a couple of posts that linked to some great information.
First, there’s Meet the Chartpack, introducing a great resource that brings together a ton of useful information about America’s biopharmaceutical research sector.
Then, in Keeping the Wheels Turning, we talked about how President Obama is joining the dialogue about how a strong patent system can help America's economic rebound.
Next, there was an interesting exchange on ALS anticipating Rare Disease Day on February 28 and how important the search for new treatments are to patients afflicted by rare conditions and their families.
Finally, The Coming Alzheimer’s Tsunami highlights the potentially devastating health and economic impact of Alzheimer’s disease on America over the next several decades and the need to act now to find new treatments.
If by any chance you missed these posts, take a look back. I think you’ll find them interesting. Have a great weekend.
