In July 2013, members of PhRMA and the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) adopted Principles for Responsible Clinical Trial Data Sharing. Implementation of these Principles began on January 1, 2014. Under these commitments to share clinical trial information, companies that follow the Principles certify that they have established policies and procedures to implement the data sharing commitments.
