The U.S. Consensus Framework for Ethical Collaboration (USCF) is a voluntary, principles-based partnership designed to uphold and strengthen cooperation among leading U.S. health system stakeholders. Inspired by the International Consensus Framework for Ethical Collaboration, the USCF adapts established global principles to a shared vision for advancing innovation and improving patient outcomes across the U.S. healthcare system.
Building on the U.S. health care system’s legacy of scientific leadership and innovation, the USCF recognizes that the strength of the system depends on trust and transparency among all who serve patients. By fostering consistent, ethical collaboration, the framework helps ensure that innovation and care delivery are guided by shared standards and mutual accountability. Through this effort, the United States joins a majority of APEC member economies in advancing a framework that reinforces integrity and patient-centered progress across the health ecosystem.
